(Arthur Twp, ON.) – On Saturday September 19th, 2009 at about 1:58am County of Wellington OPP investigated an erratic driver in a 2004 Chevy K15 truck found travelling on Wellington Road 109 of Arthur Twp. Police spoke to the driver and found he had been drinking. When police demanded samples of his breath, the driver refused to comply.
Atakan Celik aged 36 of Orangeville has been charged with Impaired Driving and Refuse Breath Sample under the Criminal Code of Canada. Celik is scheduled to appear in Guelph court on October 19th, 2009 to answer to the charges.
(Guelph-Eramosa Twp, ON.) – On Saturday September 19th, 2009 at about 2:25am County of Wellington OPP investigated the driver of a 2005 Jeep SUV found travelling on Highway 7 near Wellington Road 32 of Guelph-Eramosa Twp. Police spoke to the driver and found he had been drinking.
David James Cutten aged 23 of Elora has been charged with Impaired Driving and Over 80 mgs under the Criminal Code of Canada. Cutten is scheduled to appear in Guelph court on October 19th, 2009 to answer to the charges.
(Erin Twp, ON.) – On Saturday September 19th, 2009 at about 5:00pm County of Wellington OPP responded to a report of a truck smashed in the ditch of sideroad 17 near the 4th line of Erin Twp.
Police attended and found a 1999 GMC Sierra pickup in the ditch and when officers spoke with the driver, who was unhurt, they found he had been drinking.
Norman William Myers aged 48 of Erin Twp has been charged with Impaired Driving and Over 80 mgs under the Criminal Code of Canada and Have Care or Control of a Motor Vehicle with Open Liquor under the Liquor Licence Act. Myers is scheduled to appear in Guelph court on November 16th, 2009 to answer to the charges. |
